As part of the PGA of America's support for its Golf: For Business & Life program, each member of Team USA designated a $100,000 gift to his favorite college or university.
September 15, 2004
The PGA of America, on behalf of the 12 members of Team USA and Captain Hal Sutton, will distribute $2.6 million to charities and universities of the team's choosing, increasing to $7.8 million the total amount donated since establishing the program in 1999.
