Member of 2000 Presidents Cup and 2002 U.S. Ryder Cup Team . . Cink learned to play on a driving range before he was old enough for his parents to bring him to a golf course. In college, he was a three-time NCAA Division I All-American (1993, '94 and '95), and was a husband and father by the time he graduated. He earned his Nike Tour card at the end of 1995 and was Nike Player of the Year in 1996, winning three times. . . Cink won Rookie of the Year honors on the PGA Tour in 1997, winning the Canon Greater Hartford Open. He was the second rookie to exceed $800,000 in earnings (David Duval was the first).
