Ryder Cup Europe LLP today announced that it has entered into a Partnership with Aer Lingus, Ireland's National Airline, to transport Europe's Team, Official Party and Guests to The 2006 Ryder Cup at The K Club, Straffan, Co. Kildare, from September 22-24.
The official flight, with The Ryder Cup trophy itself also on board the Airbus A321, will depart from London's Heathrow Airport on Monday September 18, signalling the start of a full week of events which will culminate in the three days of competition in The Ryder Cup on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Official Party will receive a warm send-off before departure, while the European Team will then be greeted on arrival at Dublin's International Airport before being transferred to The K Club, County Kildare, to commence their preparation for three days which showcase the golfing elite from Europe and the United States.
Aer Lingus will also provide the official return flight to Heathrow on Monday September 25 to enable the players to be at The Grove in Hertfordshire to compete in The World Golf Championships -- American Express Championship from September 28 -- October 1.
