Woosnam Shakes up Pairings for Foursomes

The European Team will have a completely different look for the afternoon foursomes.

European Captain Ian Woosnam has changed all his pairings for the afternoon foursomes with the four players who sat out the morning session thrust into action at The K Club.

There will be plenty of support for the Irish pairing of Paul McGinley and Padraig Harrington in a tried and tested partnership as they head out first against Chad Campbell and Zach Johnson, both of whom will be getting their first taste of the action.

David Howell and Henrik Stenson are brought into the attack against another new American partnership in Stewart Cink and David Toms.

Colin Montgomerie changes partners and will go out with Lee Westwood against Phil Mickelson and Chris DiMarco in the third group out while Luke Donald and Sergio Garcia, who formed such a strong partnership at Oakland Hills in winning both their foursomes matches together, are back together against the American top pairing of Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk.
