All Opening Ceremony and Match Day Entrance Tickets (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and Match Day Official Corporate Hospitality Packages (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) have now been sold out for The 2006 Ryder Cup.
A road closure programme, stretching to a five mile radius around The K Club, will be in operation throughout the entire week of the match (Sunday September 17 at 11.59pm to Sunday September 24 at 11.59pm), which includes the Practice Days. All Ticket Holders will be liable to security checks at the Entrance Gates and are reminded that it is also essential to be in possession of a car park pass (€20.00 per car per day) to access and park at the Park and Ride Terminals at Weston Aerodrome and Palmerstown House from where spectator shuttle buses will run constantly starting at 06.00 each morning.
All Ticket Holders are also advised that they can be taken either by private car or taxi to the Park and Ride Terminals. There will be a dedicated drop-off/collection point at both Terminals.
Alternatively a train will run from Connolly Station to Louisa Bridge Station (near Leixlip) from where ticket holders will be taken by shuttle to the North Bus Terminal. The cost for the train and bus transfer is €20.00 and this can only be booked in advance by visiting www.irishrail.ie
Members of the public should be aware that there is a real threat of forged or invalid entrance tickets and Hospitality Packages being offered for sale and holders of such tickets will be turned away at the Entrance Gates since Passport ID will be required. Please heed this warning from Ryder Cup Europe LLP NOT to purchase any tickets from unscrupulous agents as these tickets will not be honoured.
You are reminded that there will be no "PASS-OUTS" throughout the six days of the competition.
