The American flies the pin to around 25 feet, Casey floats a fine approach to seven feet. Furyk's birdie attempt doesn't really threaten the hole and Casey gets off to the perfect start by holing his birdie putt. Europe one up.
2	413	4	Hole halved in four after Furyk's birdie chance stays above ground. Casey is one up.
3	170	3	Casey crashes home an excellent 20 foot birdie putt to go two up through three holes.
4	568	5	Furyk gets a hole back with a par five after Casey plays the hole poorly. Europe one up.
5	440	4	Casey strikes back immediately with a fine right-to-left breaking birdie putt from 15 feet. Europe two up.
6	478	4	Hole halved in par fours with Furyk making five foot par putt. Casey remains two up.
7	430	4	Fuyrk plays a beautiful approach to nine feet at the difficult seventh befoe Casey responds magnifcently, putting his second shot inside the American to set up a great birdie chance. Furyk misses his chance, allowing Casey to hole his own attempt to move three up.
8	173	3	Furyk finds the bunker off the tee, slpashing out to 8 feet. Casey finds the fringe and lags his 45 foot birdie chance brilliantly. Furyk gives Casey the par and then misses his par effort to send Casey four up.
9	461	4	Furyk misses a good chance to cut the deficit to three but misses from 12 feet. Casey remains in control as they head for the back nine. Europe four up.
10	584	5	Furyk holes for ten feet for birdie but Casey knock in his own birdie chance from eight feet to remain four up.
11	415	4	Furyk finally pulls a hole back with a bridie three. Europe three up.
12	182	3	Casey responds with a cracking tee shot to eight feet on the par three but he fails to convert and the hole is halved in three. Europe three up.
13	428	4	Another half. Europe three up.
14	213	3	Casey returns to the scene of his majestic hole in one from the Saturday Foursomes and doesn't fail to disappoint, holing a huge birdie putt, only for Furyk to respond in typical fighting fashion to secure a fantastic half. Europ remain three up.
15	446	4	A great approach from Casey sets up another birdie chance, this time from ten feet, but he has to settle for a half as his putt slides by. Europe remain three up.
16	555	5	Casey, dormie three up, finds a horrible lie on the lip of the greenside bunker but plays it well, but the ball still has 20 feet to find the hole. Furyk has a monster putt across the green that he makes look easy, holing out for eagle to force Casey to the 17th.
17	424	4	Casey secures Europe's second point of the session with a fine downhill birdie putt from 30 feet. Furyk loses a Ryder Cup Singles for the first time in five Ryder Cups.
