The inspirational Scot has been named as the European Captain at The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales from Thursday, September 30 to Sunday, October 3, 2010. Now, follow the action and drama at close quarters as The European Team bids to regain the coveted trophy which was wrested from their grasp by the United States at Valhalla last September.

The impressive Twenty Ten Course is the first to be designed specifically to host a Ryder Cup, and every effort has been made to ensure that those fortunate enough to attend the event will be able to see more of the action than ever before.

Built along the floor of the beautiful Usk Valley, and with water coming into play on nine of the holes, the scenic course will present the 24 players with some classic match play dilemmas, particularly on the closing stretch of holes from the par four 14th, the signature hole, to the par five18th, a classic risk and reward hole.

There will be two hospitality facilities available for companies wishing to attend The 2010 Ryder Cup; private chalets for 30 and 50 guests and a restaurant where clients can purchase tables of ten. The facilities will be built on the hillside overlooking the fairway and green of the tough 490 yard par four 16th and overlooking the green of the par three 17th, this natural amphitheatre affording patrons the best view of the action as it unfolds, as well as panoramic views of the stunning Twenty Ten Course.

Every two years the leading players from Europe and the United States entertain thousands of spectators and millions of television viewers worldwide in golf's most prestigious team event.
