Team USA asking fans to be 'red-y' for Sunday singles

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Team USA captain Paul Azinger is asking for more help from his "13th man," the fans who have been so vocal and supportive of the American squad during the 37th Ryder Cup at Valhalla Golf Club.
Azinger, whose underdog squad takes a 9-7 lead into Sunday's 12 singles matches, wants Team Europe to see red -- a literal sea of red -- and is asking fans who plan to attend the 37th Ryder Cup in person to don their red attire in a show of support.
Team USA is attempting to win back the Ryder Cup for the first time since 1999.
Keeping a patriotic theme throughout the weekend, the U.S. team wore white on Friday, blue on Saturday and will wear red on Sunday.
Additionally, PGA of America staff members will be wearing red on Sunday.
