Kenny Perry's 22nd season on the PGA Tour has been his best -- by far. In less than half a season, the Kentucky native matched his career high in wins with three, and they came in a brief span of just five starts. Two of those victories came in successive events, highlighting a stretch of six tournaments in which he was out of the top six just once. Competing in this Ryder Cup in his home state was Perry's main goal entering the season. He also hopes to atone for a disappointing playoff loss to Mark Brooks in the 1996 PGA Championship at Valhalla.
