Player Notes

Jim Furyk has won every year on the PGA Tour except his rookie season in 1994 and in 2004, when he missed three months due to injury. He had top-10 finishes in three straight majors starting at the 2002 PGA Championship and ending with a victory at the 2003 U.S. Open. He's won on some of the country's best courses: Doral Resort & Spa, Muirfield Village and Cog Hill Golf & Country Club. A fierce competitor, Furyk no doubt will be looking to improve on what is a surprisingly weak 6-12-2 career Ryder Cup record.
