Boo Weekley won the Verizon Heritage in 2007 for his first PGA Tour win, then shot middle rounds of 64-65 there in April to successfully defend his title. In 2008, his third full season on tour, he played in all four majors for the first time in his career, finishing T26 or better in three of them. His "awe-shucks" personality and deep Southern drawl have never been seen before at the Ryder Cup, and are sure to entertain fans and the media all week.
