Pin placement is crucial which means that club selection becomes vital with the carry over water to deal with first followed by a run off at the back. I will be on this tee with my players to give some advice if they feel they need me to. If you have managed to settle down on the second hole and hopefully have made a birdie four, then you are into the round and the match. There are no excuses now. I can understand the first and second causing a flutter or two, because it's The Ryder Cup, but you are now on your way.
