This is a hole which lends itself to a great second shot because the correct distance will be rewarded. It is a relatively simple drive, often into the prevailing wind, but nevertheless you still have to hit it authoritatively with two strategically placed bunkers to deal with. A lot of the new holes on The Twenty Ten Course have been designed with the distance control of the second shot in mind so the key here is most probably the approach. The biggest danger is the contouring of the green -- it's not too difficult for the ball to fall off the putting surface -- and taking one more club than you think is often a good decision.
