Tickets and Pricing

Photo Identification

All public tickets for The 2010 Ryder Cup will feature Photo ID. If you are successful in the ballot you will be required to submit a passport style photograph via e-mail or in the post for yourself and all members of your party before being allowed to purchase your tickets.

Each ticket will feature the photograph of the person in whose name it is registered and will be non-transferable. Checks will be carried out to ensure that only the person in the photograph will be admitted to the event.

There will be a pre-defined window of opportunity for successful applicants to submit their photographs (for all members of their party) and make payment. Payments will only be accepted after all the photographs have been uploaded and approved. Any orders that have not been paid for by the deadline will be automatically canceled.

Ground Admission Tickets

Ground Admission Tickets give the spectator access to the 2010 Ryder Cup course and public facilities at the event. They do not give access to The Celtic Manor Resort Hotel and Clubhouse.

These tickets can be purchased as a daily ticket, a 2-day Series Ticket, or a 4-day Series Ticket.

International Pavilion Tickets

A new option being introduced this year is an International Pavilion ticket. The International Pavilion will be based near the tented village in between the 1st Tee and the 18th Green. The structure will be fitted out to a higher specification than the general Public Facilities and will have a Sports Bar theme with separate catering and toilet facilities that can only be accessed with an International Pavilion Ticket. This can be bought either for the Tuesday or Wednesday of the event, or a 6-day Series Pass for the entire week.

Concession Tickets

Concession tickets are available to those individuals who are under 16 on Friday 24th September 2010.

These concession tickets are only available on Practice Days.

Transportation

As in previous Ryder Cups, there will be a Park and Ride Operation implemented to enable spectators to visit the event as safely and smoothly as possible.

There will be two Car Parks away from The Celtic Manor Resort site: The West Park and Ride, situated 9 miles to the West of the resort for spectators traveling from Cardiff and the North and West of Wales; The East Park and Ride, situated 7 miles to the East of the resort for spectators traveling from east of Newport and England.

Spectators who are planning to attend The 2010 Ryder Cup by car or private coach, must purchase a valid Car Park Pass for their vehicle in advance for each day of attendance to gain access to the Park and Ride Car Parks.

There will be designated Taxi Drop-Off and Collection points at both Car Parks for those wishing to travel to the event by Taxi. There is no fee for taxis entering the Car Park and those arriving by Taxi can access the free Shuttle once they have had their tickets checked.

There will be a free bus shuttle service to and from the Car Parks and the Celtic Manor Resort which must be used by everyone who parks in the Park and Ride Car Parks. These shuttles will run from Tuesday to Sunday of the event week inclusive and will operate from 06.00hrs until 21.30hrs daily.

For those who are intending to travel by Public Transport, they are advised to make their way to Newport Train Station where there will be a bus shuttle service to the Bus Terminal at the Celtic Manor Resort. Further details with regards to train travel will be issued if you have been successful in the ballot.
