Ryder Cup 2010 teams up with premium coffee maker Nespresso

Swiss-based Nestlé Nespresso, the worldwide pioneer and market leader in premium portioned coffee, has announced its official agreement with The 2010 Ryder Cup, to be played at The Celtic Manor Resort in Wales next year.

Nespresso will be a Preferred Supplier to The 2010 Ryder Cup, one of the world's most prestigious sporting events, played on a biennial basis between Europe and the United States. The 2010 contest will take place from October 1-3 when Colin Montgomerie's European Team aims to regain the famous trophy from the United States, captained by Corey Pavin.

During the build up and three-days of enthralling competition, Nespresso will 'tee up' an estimated  500,000 Grand Crus, offering the Ultimate Coffee Experience by providing perfect espresso, cappuccino and lattes to event participants and guests at Nespresso bars located throughout the venue..

In addition to being a Preferred Supplier to The 2010 Ryder Cup, Nespresso serves as the Official Coffee for a full portfolio of exclusive sporting events.  Nespresso has an historic relationship with the European Masters, stretching back over 19 years.  The event, which took place in Crans Montana, Switzerland in September, served as the first qualifying tournament towards The European Team selection for The 2010 Ryder Cup.
