The first of the remodeled holes from the old Wentwood Hills course, considerable changes have been made to this hole to ensure it presents a challenge akin to the remainder of the new course. Some 30 yards have been added to its overall length with the construction of a new tee box and players will now be faced with a more angled drive across water to the left to right dog-leg fairway. This will, however, bring two fairway bunkers into play, each of which has been reshaped, adding greater depth. Two left hand side bunkers at the front of the green have also been raised significantly, offering protection to all left-hand hole locations. Another deepened bunker to the rear of the green lies in wait for those whose second shot is a little too boisterous.
