Molinari holed a 25-foot birdie putt at the eighth hole to go 1-up. A 5-foot birdie putt by Molinari on No. 10 allowed him to extend his lead to 2-up. At the par-5 11th, Molinari went 3-up after making a 12-foot birdie putt. Molinari continues to pour it on Fowler. After a great approach on No. 12, Molinari gets another birdie and takes a 4-up lead. Fowler won the 13th hole with a par to cut his deficit to 3-down. After Molinari missed a par putt on the 16th hole, he conceded a birdie putt to Fowler who went 2-down with two to play. Key Moment
Fowler birdied his last four holes -- one of which, the 15th, was halved -- in remarkable fashion, highlighted by a 15-footer on the last hole to earn an amazing halve and keep alive the Americans' hopes.
Team USA Quote
"It's awesome. It was a position where it was nothing to lose. Had to go for it. Edoardo played great all day. He hit a lot of great shots and you know forced me to make some putts at the end."
