Jim Furyk
3,280.08500 2 2

T.J.'s Take: It looked to be a pretty good week for Furyk, but with a 2-over 74 in the final round, which included four bogeys in his first seven holes, he had to settle for a tie for 33rd. Now, Furyk has the British Open at St. Andrews on his mind.

Lucas Glover
2,938.61200 4 4

T.J.'s Take: A nice, welcome consistent tournament for Glover led to a tie for 25th in the AT&T National. The only big blemish was a triple-bogey 7 on the par-4 12th hole Sunday, which he cancelled out with three back-nine birdies for an even-par 70.

Dustin Johnson

T.J.'s Take: In his first start since the final-round debacle at Pebble Beach in the U.S. Open, Johnson couldn't seem to get anything going. With rounds of 71-74, he missed the cut.

Tiger Woods

T.J.'s Take: After yet another not-so-pretty week for the world's No. 1 player - a tie for 46th at AT&T National - Tiger at least managed to move up another spot in the latest U.S. standings and is slowly creeping in on the top 5.

Ricky Barnes
2,526.69300 9 11
T.J.'s Take: Moving ever closer to that coveted top-8, which guarantees a spot on the U.S. team, Barnes picked up two positions in this week's standings with a tie for 16th at AT&T National. At this point, who wouldn't want Barnes on their team? He's been playing great golf pretty much all season long and saved his best golf for the weekend with rounds of 69-68 to soar up the leaderboard.

Jeff Overton
2,378.96900 12 17
T.J.'s Take: This week's biggest mover, Overton jumped up five spots in the standings with a third-place finish at the AT&T National. Just a brilliant week for Overton, who remarkably turned in four straight rounds in the 60s at the difficult Aronimink Golf Club - he was the only player in the field who managed to do that. It was Overton's fourth top-10 of the season, as he continues to knock on the door of that first PGA Tour win.

Bo Van Pelt
2,103.72600 15 16
T.J.'s Take: Van Pelt has been a human-ATM machine this season and added to that notion with a tie for 11th at the AT&T National, which was also his ninth consecutive cut made and his sixth top-11 finish over that stretch. Just incredible play from Van Pelt lately. With that, he moved up one spot in the latest standings.

Ryan Moore
2,017.19500 18 N/A
T.J.'s Take: With a second-place finish thanks to a final-round 65, Moore jumped inside of this week's top 20. It was Moore's fourth top-10 finish of the season and his second in his last four starts. His final round at the AT&T National also allowed Moore to secure a spot in next week's British Open.

J.B. Holmes
1,953.33100 19 20
T.J.'s Take: At the start of last week, Holmes teamed up with Ricky Barnes to win the two-day CVS Charity Classic in Rhode Island. That confidence must have carried over to the Philly area for Holmes, who moved up one spot in this week's standings thanks to his fifth-place finish at the AT&T National.

Nick Watney
1,925.49600 20 19
T.J.'s Take: It was a great week for Watney, who notched his best finish - a tie for seventh - since the Masters. Unfortunately, it wasn't good enough to move up in the standings. Instead, because of the fifth-place finish by Holmes, Watney actually dropped one spot in this weke's standings.

Team USA Qualifying Process

The United States points system will determine the top eight players for the 2010 United States Ryder Cup Team on August 15. In addition, Captain Corey Pavin selects four players on Sept. 7, 2010, to complete the United States Team. Points are based upon the following:

-- Prize money earned in the 2009 major championships (Masters, U.S. Open, British Open and PGA Championship): One point is awarded for every $1,000 earned; all U.S. players making the cut will earn points.

-- Prize money earned in 2010 "Official" events from Jan. 1 through Aug. 15: One point is awarded for every $1,000 earned, excluding the major championships, events played opposite major championships and events played opposite World Golf Championships; all U.S. players making the cut will earn points.

-- Prize money earned for the 2010 major championships: (Masters, U.S. Open, British Open, and the PGA Championship). Two points are awarded for every $1,000 earned; all U.S. players making the cut will earn points.

Prize money earned in 2010 events played opposite the major championships and opposite World Golf Championships events between Jan. 1 and the PGA Championship, Aug. 15 -- one-half point will be awarded for every $1,000 earned; all U.S. players making the cut will earn points.
