PLAYER NOTES
November 9, 2008, Love won his 20th career PGA Tour tournament at the Children's Miracle Network Classic. The win earned him lifetime exemption on the tour at age 44. He has won 20 events on the PGA Tour, most notably the 1997 PGA Championship. Love is also a two-time winner of the Players Championship, which he won in 1992 and 2003. He managed to be in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings for more than 450 weeks with a peak ranking of third. In 1987, Love won his first Tour event and he attended the University of North Carolina before turning professional in 1985.
