Teams take to Vine with 100 days to go

With Wednesday marking 100 days to go until the first shots are struck at The 2016 Ryder Cup, excitement is building ahead of the biennial clash at Hazeltine.

While the players are working hard to make both sides for the transatlantic team event, Teams Europe and USA took to social media for a bit of playful banter – a back-and-forth digital conversation that proved highly entertaining!

Europe made the opening move and the American response came soon after…

Next up for Europe came this offering, referencing the fact that Darren Clarke’s team will be going for a fourth Ryder Cup win on the bounce – a run stretching back to the 2010 edition at Celtic Manor.

The European channel then rewound four years to the last Ryder Cup staged on American soil, when José Maria Olazábal’s side overturned a massive deficit on the final day to clinch a dramatic victory at Medinah.
