Based on the poise Andrew Landry had on display throughout the week of the Valero Texas Open, you'd never know that it was his first ever PGA Tour victory.
With the win, Landry was able to make a significant dash in the right direction on the Ryder Cup USA points list, moving all the way up from No. 48 to No. 15.
No one from No. 1-14 in the standings moved their position based on Valero, with many of them sitting out. Patrick Reed still occupies the top spot with Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth and Bubba Watson rounding out the top 5.

Five-time Ryder Cup USA team member Zach Johnson finished in fifth at the Valero Texas Open and moved up from No. 23 to No. 20 in the latest standings.
U.S. players will continue to gain points in 2018 at every non-opposite PGA Tour event, WGC and major through the 100th PGA Championship at Bellerive, concluding on August 12, 2018.
At that time, Captain Jim Furyk will have his first eight players -- automatic qualifiers.
The four remaining slots on the U.S. Team will be Captain's Selections. Three selections will be announced by Captain Jim Furyk following the Dell Technologies Championship scheduled to be completed on Sept. 3, 2018, and the final selection will be announced after the BMW Championship, which is slated to be completed on Sept. 9, 2018.
