The NCAA Final Four might have a few first-timers in its field, but the final group of our Golf Madness Ryder Cup Sunday bracket has no shortage of experience.
Rising stars Justin Thomas and Hideki Matsuyama made their best efforts to make the final group, but a group of young, experienced golfers who have combined been the World No. 1 ranked golfers since August 2014 surged into the Final Four.
Here are the results from our Elite 8 matches:
|Dustin Johnson (77.4%)||Rickie Fowler (22.6%)|
|Jason Day (58.1%)||Justin Thomas (41.9%)|
|Jordan Spieth (83.9%)||Hideki Matsuyama (16.1%)|
|Rory McIlroy (67.7%)||Henrik Stenson (32.3%)|
Here are our final matches:
Dustin Johnson vs. Jason Day
Jordan Spieth vs. Rory McIlroy
Johnson, Day and McIlroy are the three latest winners of the WGC-Dell Match Play. Johnson, Spieth and McIlroy have all had success helping their teams capture the Ryder Cup Trophy. And, yes, they all combine to be the top-ranked players in the world for almost the past three years.
