Here's a look at all the Captains in Ryder Cup USA history through the years.
Walter Hagen (far right) was the U.S. Captain for the first six Ryder Cups -- 1927, '29, '31, '33, '35 and '37. The Americans were 4-2 over that stretch. Hagen was at the helm for the Americans more than any Captain in Ryder Cup history.
Ben Hogan was the Ryder Cup USA Captain for the 1947, '49 and '67 matches. Hogan was a perfect 3-0 as Captain.
Sam Snead (far left) captained Ryder Cup USA to a 2-0-1 record while he was at the helm in 1951, '59 and '69.
Lloyd Mangrum led Ryder Cup USA to victory as Captain in 1953.
Chick Harbert (second in from the left) captained Ryder Cup USA to victory in the 1955 matches.
