Matt Kuchar
Matt Kuchar
4,320.192 6 6

T.J.'s take: : Matt Kuchar extended his Tour-leading consecutive cuts made streak to 23 this past weekend in Canada, which led to a tie for 34th. While he picked up some valuable Ryder Cup points, they weren't enough for Kuchar to move position-wise in this week's standings. He remains at No. 6.

Brandt Snedeker
Brandt Snedeker
3,127.787 11 11

T.J.'s take: : Brandt Snedeker recently said that for the first time in a long time, he's feeling healthy. That's certainly showing too. After a tie for third at the Open Championship, Snedeker had a tie for 34th at the Canadian Open. Sure, Snedeker probably was hoping for more than a tie for 34th, but he'll leave proud of the 4-under 66 his shot in the final round. He remained at No. 11.

PLAYER POINTS THIS WEEK LAST WEEK
Dustin Johnson

PLAYER POINTS THIS WEEK LAST WEEK
Bo Van Pelt
Bo Van Pelt
2,824.231 14 14

T.J.'s take: : It seems as though Bo Van Pelt has been the master of playing great this season, picking up Ryder Cup points as a result, yet not gaining much ground -- if any -- in his standings position. That happened again in Canada. Van Pelt tied for seventh -- his seventh top-10 finish this season -- but remained at No. 14 in the standings.

PLAYER POINTS THIS WEEK LAST WEEK
Jim Furyk
Jim Furyk
2,653.116 15 15

T.J.'s take: : With a pair of even-par 70s at the Canadian Open, Jim Furyk missed the cut. He stayed at No. 15 in the latest standings.

PLAYER POINTS THIS WEEK LAST WEEK
Robert Garrigus
Robert Garrigus
2,459.247 16 22

T.J.'s take: : Robert Garrigus moved up six spots in the latest standings, jumping from No. 22 to No. 16, thanks to a tie for second in the Canadian Open. It was Garrigus's fifth top-10 finish of the season. Three of those have included runner-up showings. Since missing the cut at the U.S. Open, his last three starts look like this: a tie for fourth at AT&T National; a tie for 25th at the John Deere Classic; and the tie for second in Canada. Not a bad time -- at all -- to get hot. If Garrigus keeps playing like this but misses out on an automatic Ryder Cup bid when points close at the PGA Championship in two weeks, you'd have to believe Davis Love III will be keeping a close eye and considering him as a captain's pick.

PLAYER POINTS THIS WEEK LAST WEEK
Bill Haas
Bill Haas
2,378.767 17 16

T.J.'s take: : Bill Haas did not play in Canada and dropped one spot this week to No. 17.

Scott-Piercy-82x82jpg.jpg Scott Piercy 2,297.096 18 NA T.J.'s Take: With a win at the Canadian Open, Piercy moved into the top 20 of the Team USA Ryder Cup standings for the first time this year. Piercy got off to a hot start in Canada with an 8-under 62 in the opening round and never really cooled off with three consecutive 67s to close out the tournament. In the two starts prior to Sunday's win, Piercy finished tied for 12th at the Greenbrier and third at the John Deere Classic. He's a man on the move.

PLAYER POINTS THIS WEEK LAST WEEK
Kevin Na
Kevin Na
