Sept. 21-26, 2021 Whistling Straits, Kohler, WI

Ryder Cup Captains Thomas Bjørn and Jim Furyk were joined by 250 guests for an exquisite Gala Dinner in the Château de Versailles at the end of the first day of the 2018 Year to Go celebrations.

Following the education visit and Captain’s Challenge and clinic earlier in the day, when more than 700 school children visited Le Golf National, host venue of The 2018 Ryder Cup, the Captains enjoyed a tour of the spectacular Château de Versailles on this unique occasion.

The private dinner for the Captains, commercial family and VIP guests was held in La Galerie des Batailles with welcome speeches from Laura Flessel, French Minister of Sport, Catherine Pegard, President of the Château, Pascal Grizot, President of the 2018 Ryder Cup committee, and Keith Pelley, CEO of the European Tour.

Captain’s Bjørn and Furyk concluded the evening with an entertaining and insightful Q&A as they recounted their own Ryder Cup experiences and looked ahead to next year’s Ryder Cup.
