Team Europe has had plenty to celebrate over recent years. Here are some of the best of those celebrations...
1985: Seve Ballesteros celebrates a first ever European victory by soaking team Captain Tony Jacklin with champagne as Sam Torrance and Bernhard Langer watch on.
1987: Europe retained The Ryder Cup with a 13 victory over Jack Nicklaus' USA. The whole team surround Europe's most successful ever captain, Tony Jacklin as he is hoisted onto Ian Woosnam's shoulders.
1989: Christy O'Connor Jnr won the point that ensured Europe would retain the cup. The 1989 match is the only time there has been a halved match in it's current form.
1995: Sam Torrance and Bernard Gallacher burst with joy after Europe win their first Ryder Cup in six years.
1997: It might of only been Day one Fourball's but every point matters as Darren Clarke and Thomas Bjørn showed with these celebrations in 1997, Europe would go on to secrue a 14.5-13.5 victory.
2002: When you hole the winning putt there's only one way to celebrate if your Paul Mcginley, jump in the lake of course.
2004: Now a Ryder Cup veteran and legend, 12 years ago Ian Poulter was a rookie but he knew how to celebrate.
2006: 2016 Captain Darren Clarke was the hero at the K Club in 2006, he and the rest of the team celebrated a third consecutive victory on the clubhouse balcony in front of thousands of fans.
2010: Graeme Mcdowell holed the winning putt at Celtic Manor, here he is before being mobbed by on the green by the masses.
2012: The Miracle at Medinah is probably the greatest comeback in European history, Lee Westwood and Rory Mcilroy prepare to storm the green after Martin Kaymer holed the winning putt.
2014: Probably one of the most unique ways to celebrate gaining the winning point, Jamie Donaldson rode Thomas Bjørn into a press conference.
