Pick your #UltimateRyderCupTeam with BMW

Ahead of The 2018 Ryder Cup in September, Ryder Cup Europe and BMW, Official Partner of The Ryder Cup, have teamed up to give fans the chance to pick their Ultimate European Ryder Cup Team.

More than a 80 players have represented Team Europe in the Ryder Cup since 1979 but if you could pick your dream team, who would make up your Ultimate Ryder Cup Team? Thanks to BMW, Official Partner of The 2018 Ryder Cup, you can do exactly that. 

Fans can visit www.ultimaterydercupteam.com and pick 12 players, a captain and a venue to create their Ultimate Ryder Cup Team. The team can then be shared with friends and family as we all debate who should be in Team Europe's dream team.

Users are encouraged to share their teams on social media using the hashtag #UltimateRyderCupTeam. Throughout the coming months, Ryder Cup Europe will select fans at random to share their teams on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter with celebrities, ex players and captains also selecting their Ultimate Ryder Cup teams.

"It's an age-old debate that fans have, who would be on your Ultimate Ryder Cup Team?" said Jamie Kennedy, Content Director for Ryder Cup Europe. "Fans of all ages have so much passion and knowledge of The Ryder Cup, we thought this would be a fun way to capture that passion and create debate and social conversation amongst fans."

The activation coincides with BMW's own Ryder Cup Team BMW competition, that allows fans to enter for a chance to go to the event in Paris in September. By taking part in their online challenges and selected European Tour tournaments, fans can compete to earn a spot on Team BMW and get invited to The Ryder Cup. The Ultimate Ryder Cup Team site is now live and will run through the end of August.
