Sept. 25-Oct. 1, 2023 Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, Rome, Italy

The 2020 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits isn't as far away as you may think.

The Pete Dye course that sits along the shore of Lake Michigan, has played host to three PGA Championships (2004, 2010 and 2015).

In 2020, for the first time, the Wisconsin course will play host to the most prestigious team championship in golf -- the Ryder Cup.

Dating back to 1927, the Ryder Cup is a biennial event that pits 12 of the best players from the U.S. against 12 of Europes best.

The Ryder Cup is played in five sessions over three days. The first two days involve a foursomes and fourballs session with four matches per session, while the final day is reserved for 12 singles matches.
