Sept. 25-Oct. 1, 2023 Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, Rome, Italy

A group of 24 of the best juniors from Europe and the United States enjoyed an ‘experience of a lifetime’ in the first ever GolfSixes at The Ryder Cup match.

Following the conclusion of the Junior Ryder Cup at Golf Disneyland yesterday, where the United States beat Europe 12 ½ to 11 ½ , the two teams travelled across Paris to Le Golf National to take part in a series of six-hole matches on holes 1, 2, 15, 16, 17, 18 on L’Albatros Course.

With girls and boys from both teams joining forces, all the juniors who took part admitted they had just had a day they will never forget on the course that will host the 42nd edition of The Ryder Cup in two days’ time.

“I have no words,” said Spain’s Eduard Rousaud Sabate. “The crowds were amazing, the course was so pure, and to be here with my friends and family today was amazing.

“It has been an incredible week so far, one which I will always remember. I can’t wait to stay here to watch the Europeans – especially Jon and Sergio!”

“It was really awesome,” said America’s William Moll. “The six holes we played were the hardest on the course and it really shows how hard it is to be on Tour.

“The atmosphere on the first tee was really fun. There were a tonne of people cheering and it was just really great to be out there.”

“The course was incredible and to be here in front of such a huge crowd was very special,” said Italy’s Emilie Alba-Paltrinieri. “To play at a Ryder Cup course is an experience I will remember for the rest of my life.

“My dream is to play in the Solheim Cup as not only do you get to represent your country but your continent too.”

“Today was so epic,” said America’s Alexa Pano. “It was so loud on the first tee with all of the crowds supporting us, and I can’t even imagine what it is going to be like on Friday.

“I have enjoyed this week so much. The Junior Ryder Cup was the best event I ever played in and my team mates were the best I could have asked for – I was so happy for all of them after we won.”
