You can’t keep Rory McIlroy out of the headlines.
The 2016 Ryder Cup had not even begun when McIlroy made his mark on Hazeltine National. Playing in a practice round with Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson and Andy Sullivan, the four-time Major Champion took aim at the pin on the 642-yard par five sixth hole.
Without needing so much as a bounce, the ball found the bottom of the hole for a slam dunk eagle, sparking celebrations back down the fairway.
Take a bow, Mr McIlroy.
