Sept. 22-28, 2025 Bethpage Black Course, Farmingdale, NY

Phil Mickelson has played on every Ryder Cup USA team since the 1995 matches at Oak Hill Country Club.

Evidently, the 47-year-old -- who will be 48 when the matches begin later this year -- doesn't plan on the streak ending at the 2018 Ryder Cup.

With a tie for second in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday, Lefty moved from No. 21 to No. 12 in the latest standings. It's also worth noting that, incredibly, Mickelson has never once had to rely on a Captain's Pick for any of those previous Ryder Cups. He's made them all outright on points.

For the second consecutive week, Chez Reavie moved in the right direction. Days after his runner-up finish at TPC Scottsdale in the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Reavie finished T2 at Pebble Beach to move from No. 11 to No. 9 on the points list. In a two-week span, Reavie has improved his position by 27 spots.

Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth and Matt Kuchar continue to own the top-5 positions, in that order.

U.S. players will continue to gain points in 2018 at every non-opposite PGA Tour event, WGC and major through the 100th PGA Championship at Bellerive, concluding on August 12, 2018.

At that time, Captain Jim Furyk will have his first eight players -- automatic qualifiers.

The four remaining slots on the U.S. Team will be Captain's Selections. Three selections will be announced by Captain Jim Furyk following the Dell Technologies Championship scheduled to be completed on Sept. 3, 2018, and the final selection will be announced after the BMW Championship, which is slated to be completed on Sept. 9, 2018.

Here's how players will earn points in 2018.
