Day one at The 2018 Ryder Cup was one not to be missed.

From a stunning singles debut from Tommy Fleetwood, to a European foursomes whitewash, the opening day was quite simply amazing.

First up, the crowd got going with an Icelandic thunder clap.

Then it was to the course and who better to give us our first hole out than the recent FedEx Cup Champion, Justin Rose.

This was followed by Tommy Fleetwood announcing himself as a Ryder Cup player. It's safe to say he is relishing this occassion.

No words could describe what Rory did here...

Finally, Sergio Garcia proved why he was such an important addition to the team, as his win saw the 2017 Masters Champion become the most successful Spaniard in Ryder Cup history.

We can't wait for tomorrow.
