Sept. 22-28, 2025 Bethpage Black Course, Farmingdale, NY

Kyle Stanley was the biggest mover in the Ryder Cup USA points standings after his runner-up finish at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational as he jumped five spots to No. 14 and moved into the Ryder Cup USA picture.

Justin Thomas, who won the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, is closing in on an automatic spot on the Ryder Cup USA Team, potentially joining Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and Patrick Reed as automatic qualifiers.

Tiger Woods, on the other hand, missed out on the chance to pick up valuable Ryder Cup points after his T31 finish at the Bridgestone Invitational. He remains at No. 20 in the Ryder Cup points standings and almost 2,000 points behind Webb Simpson, who currently holds the No. 8 spot.

Other than Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas moving up one spot to No. 1 and No. 3, respectively, (as Koepka fell to No. 2 and Reed fell to No. 4), there was no movement in the top 12 of the Ryder Cup USA points standings.

U.S. players will continue to gain points in 2018 at every non-opposite PGA Tour event, WGC and major through the 100th PGA Championship at Bellerive, concluding on August 12, 2018.

At that time, Captain Jim Furyk will have his first eight players – automatic qualifiers.

The four remaining slots on the U.S. Team will be Captain's Selections. Three selections will be announced by Captain Jim Furyk following the Dell Technologies Championship scheduled to be completed on Sept. 3, 2018, and the final selection will be announced after the BMW Championship, which is slated to be completed on Sept. 9, 2018.
