As Bubba Watson won the WGC-Dell Match Play Championship on Sunday -- the 11th victory of his PGA Tour career and the second this season -- he also made a huge move in the latest Ryder Cup USA points standings.
Watson began the week at No. 11 in points. But when he finished off Kevin Kisner 7 and 6 in Sunday's final, he zoomed up to No. 3 this week. Watson was the only player to move into the top 10 based on his performance at Austin Country Club.
Kisner, who wielded a hot putter for most of the week, climbed from No. 33 to No. 11 in the lastest points standings with his runner-up finish.

Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson remained in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively.
U.S. players will continue to gain points in 2018 at every non-opposite PGA Tour event, WGC and major through the 100th PGA Championship at Bellerive, concluding on August 12, 2018.
At that time, Captain Jim Furyk will have his first eight players -- automatic qualifiers.
The four remaining slots on the U.S. Team will be Captain's Selections. Three selections will be announced by Captain Jim Furyk following the Dell Technologies Championship scheduled to be completed on Sept. 3, 2018, and the final selection will be announced after the BMW Championship, which is slated to be completed on Sept. 9, 2018.
