We're only 100 days from the Ryder Cup at Hazeltine National Golf Club and things are already starting to heat up on social media.
It started innocently enough, with the European team's Twitter page publishing a video to mark the occasion of being 100 days out.

Then the Americans, not to be outdone, responded with another rather cordial video reminding the Europeans how excited Americans are for the event.

Here's where things get interesting. Europe got some early trash talk in, reminding everyone who has held on to the Ryder Cup since 2010.

It's trash talk like this that makes the Ryder Cup my favorite event in all of golf. It means so much more than money or points, it's the bragging rights for an entire nation or an entire continent.
