After being a Captain’s Pick in 2021 and making his Ryder Cup debut at Whistling Straits, the No. 1 player in the world (OWGR) was the first automatic qualifier for the 2023 U.S. Ryder Cup Team.

Scheffler went 2-0-1 in his Ryder Cup debut, including a resounding 4-and-3 singles match victory over Jon Rahm.

The 27-year-old has won six times on the PGA TOUR, including the Players Championship and the WM Phoenix Open in 2023. He leads the TOUR with a 68.629 scoring average this season while also tallying 17 top 10 finishes.
