How Have the U.S. Team's Players Performed in Previous Ryder Cups?
Keegan Bradley will try to win the Ryder Cup back for the United Staes with a blend of fresh faces and experience as he heads to Bethpage Black with six Major Champions, four rookies and one player who is both.
Here, we take a look at the U.S. Team's individual records in the Ryder Cup.

Scottie Scheffler
Overall: 2-2-3
Four-balls: 1-0-2
Foursomes: 0-2-0
Singles: 1-0-1
Potentially a surprising Captain's Pick for some when he made his debut in 2021 without a win on the PGA TOUR, he went undefeated and took down Jon Rahm in the process, giving a glimpse of the dominance that was to follow.
In 2023 he arrived in Rome as the World Number One but failed to win a match and will be looking to bring his individual brilliance to the team arena. His tears after a chastening 9&7 defeat to Viktor Hovland and Ludvig Åberg alongside Brooks Koepka showed just how much it means to him.
J.J. Spaun
Rookie
He may be playing his first Ryder Cup this week but Spaun is unlikely to fear ayone as he arrives in New York as the U.S. Open champion.
That victory, at Oakmont plus a made cut at Bethpage in the 2019 US PGA Championship, shows he has a liking for tough golf courses and he may be looking for some one-on-one redemption after losing play-offs to Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose this season.
Bryson DeChambeau
Overall: 2-3-1
Four-balls: 1-0-1
Foursomes: 0-2-0
Singles: 1-1-0
A Captain's Pick in 2018 when his star was still on the rise, he left Paris without a point but would head to Whistling Straits in 2021 a different beast in more ways than one.
Now a Major winner and with a noticably bulked frame, he drove the crowds wild with his green-driving and claimed 2½ points in the home team's thumping record victory.

Xander Schauffele
Overall: 4-4-0
Four-balls: 1-1-0
Foursomes: 2-2-0
Singles: 1-1-0
A true standout as a Captain's Pick in 2021, Schauffele took points in each of the first three sessions before being rested on Saturday afternoon and beaten by an inspired McIlroy in the singles.
He suffered the opposite fate in 2023 as his formidable partnership with Patrick Cantlay suffered two defeats but he won his singles match and returns for a third Ryder Cup appearance as a two-time Major champion.
Russell Henley
Rookie
An incredibly consistent performer for a number of years, Henley claimed the biggest win of his career in March at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard on the PGA TOUR.
He has ten top tens this season and just this week rose to a career-high third on the Official World Golf Ranking, while he also claimed three points at the 2024 Presidents Cup.
Harris English
Overall: 1-2-0
Four-balls: 1-1-0
Foursomes: 0-0-0
Singles: 0-1-0
A Captain's Pick Rookie in the record-breaking win of 2021, English will still have a point to prove after claiming just one point from three, alongside Tony Finau in the four-balls.
He missed out in 2023 but returns to the fold having proved his mettle on the biggest of stages wiith two runner-up finishes in Majors in 2025.

Ben Griffin
Rookie
In 2021, Griffin played just two ranking events and finished the year outside the top 1,700 in the Official World Golf Ranking as he took an office job - this week he makes his Ryder Cup debut.
The 29-year-old earned himself a Captain's Pick by winning the Zurich Classic of New Orleans alongside Andrew Novak and the Charles Schwab Challenge, while also securing top ten finishes at the US PGA Championship and U.S. Open.
Sam Burns
Overall: 1-2-0
Four-balls: 1-0-0
Foursomes: 0-1-0
Singles: 0-1-0
A Captain's Pick for the second consecutive Ryder Cup, Burns will be aiming to improve on his one-point return from 2023.
He was sent out in the very first match alongside good friend Scheffler in Rome but went down 4&3 to Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton before he was a winner alongside Collin Morikawa in the Saturday four-balls.
Justin Thomas
Overall: 7-4-2
Four-balls: 2-1-2
Foursomes: 2-3-0
Singles: 3-0-0
The most experienced campaigner in the U.S. Team playing his fourth Ryder Cup, Thomas is undefeated in singles competition.
In foursomes and fourballs, nine of his ten matches so far have been played in a formidable partnership with the absent Jordan Spieth, while he took half a point alongside Cantlay in the four-balls at Whistling Straits.

Cameron Young
Rookie
Young's victory at the Wyndham Championship saw him finally end his long wait for a PGA TOUR title having been Rookie of the Year in 2021-22.
The 28-year-old will have plenty of support in his home state and has won previously at Bethpage as an amateur at the 2017 New York State Open, where he tied the then course record of 64.
Collin Morikawa
Overall: 4-3-1
Four-balls: 2-1-0
Foursomes: 2-1-0
Singles: 0-1-1
Morikawa arrived for his Ryder Cup debut in 2021 as the reigning Open champion and more than lived up to his billing, winning all three of his matches alongside Dustin Johnson and then claiming the vital half that won the cup against Hovland.
Was paired with both Schauffele and Burns in 2023, taking a point in the four-balls alongside the latter.
Patrick Cantlay
Overall: 5-2-1
Four-balls: 1-0-1
Foursomes: 2-2-0
Singles: 2-0-0
Cantlay plays his third consecutive Ryder Cup looking to continue his excellent record.
In 2021, he and Schauffele combined for two points in foursomes and he won a four-balls match alongside Wyndham Clark in 2023 to go with his undefeated singles record.
