
Bethpage Black Unveils Arnold Palmer Way in Tribute to Golf Legend
Most wins by a U.S. Ryder Cup player. Six appearances, six wins. Victorious Playing Captain. And now, etched in Bethpage Black history forever.
Arnold Palmer was synoymous with Ryder Cup success and to honor the golf legend, Bethpage State Park renamed Round Swamp Road - the road that cuts through the middle of the Black Course - to Arnold Palmer Way.

Now, not during just an epic Ryder Cup week - which Palmer said he loved because "it simply wasn’t about playing for money. It was about playing for something far grander and more personal," - but every day going forward around Bethpage Black, the icon will be remembered for his incredible Ryder Cup legacy.
