Sept. 22-28, 2025 Bethpage Black Course, Farmingdale, NY

Reigning PGA Champion Justin Thomas earned his second victory of the season on Sunday, taking down Luke List on the first hole of a playoff at the Honda Classic.

The win was the eighth of Thomas's career. He joins Jordan Spieth and Tiger Woods as the only players on Tour in the last 30 years with at least eight victories before the age of 25. Thomas won't turn 25 until April 29.

The latest win also helped Thomas move up one spot in the latest Ryder Cup USA standings, hopping from No. 3 to No. 2 over Brooks Koepka, who has been sidelined with a wrist injury. Only No. 1 Dustin Johnson is ahead of Thomas now.

That was the only move among the top 20 at PGA National. With his runner-up finish, List lept from No. 70 to No. 23.

With his best finish since 2015 -- 12th -- Woods moved up from No. 104 to No. 76 this week. He showed loads of great signs at the Honda, which will bode well as the major season approaches.

Ryder Cup USA Captain Jim Furyk also picked up points thanks to his T46 in his second start of the season at Honda. He's currently No. 80.

U.S. players will continue to gain points in 2018 at every non-opposite PGA Tour event, WGC and major through the 100th PGA Championship at Bellerive, concluding on August 12, 2018.

At that time, Captain Jim Furyk will have his first eight players -- automatic qualifiers.

The four remaining slots on the U.S. Team will be Captain's Selections. Three selections will be announced by Captain Jim Furyk following the Dell Technologies Championship scheduled to be completed on Sept. 3, 2018, and the final selection will be announced after the BMW Championship, which is slated to be completed on Sept. 9, 2018.

Here's how players will earn points in 2018.
