Ryder Cup: Brooks Koepka’s tee shot lands on Thomas Pieters’ father’s back

We love the Ryder Cup for many reasons. It’s a gathering filled with national pride, late-round drama and clutch shots for three straight days.
There’s more, though. Add ‘wacky moments’ to the list of reasons why this event is awesome. The latest: Brooks Koepka’s tee shot landed on a spectator’s back on Saturday afternoon. And as it turns out, it wasn’t just any fan in the gallery. Take a look:
The ball landed on none other than Thomas Pieters’ father’s back; Thomas is competing against Koepka and Dustin Johnson with his partner, Rory McIlroy.
You can’t make this stuff up. Chances are, we’ll see a few more zany moments before the weekend comes to a close.
