Ryder Cup: Phil Mickelson beats teammates in closest to pin contest... right handed

Rumors have been circulating these last couple of days that during a Ryder Cup USA team trip to Gillette Stadium -- home to the four-time, Super Bowl-winning New England Patriots
-- on Wednesday evening, there was a closest-to-the-pin contest.

During said contest, it was reported that Phil Mickelson -- Lefty -- defeated his teammates... while playing right-handed, because right-handed clubs were the only sort available.

Well, now we have video evidence courtesy of Andre Tippett to back up those reports:


How about that right-handed swing from Lefty? That was from 80 yards.

Joked Mickelson the next day following his round in the pro-am at TPC Boston for this week's Deutsche Bank Championship: "If I'm beating them right-handed... Now we've got time to fix it, but we've got an issue."
