Welcome to the PGA TOUR, Garrick Higgo.

The 22-year-old from South Africa took home the win at the inaugural Palmetto Championship at Congaree, securing PGA TOUR membership in just his second TOUR start ever.

For Higgo, the win is his third in just his last five starts worldwide, adding to victories in April and May at the European Tour’s Gran Canaria Lopesan Open and the Canary Islands Championship.

With a flawless back nine that featured an eagle and birdie among a string of pars, Higgo finished at 11-under, one stroke ahead of a handful of competitors that included Americans Hudson Swafford, Doc Redman, Bo Van Pelt and Chesson Hadley. Current Ryder Cup Rankings leader Dustin Johnson finished T10 in his first non-major start since the beginning of May.

The top 50 stays virtually unchanged this week, with just Brandt Snedeker and Chez Reavie moving up to 47th and 48th in the U.S. Team Rankings, respectively.
