Team golf returned to the PGA TOUR this week for the first time since 2019, as the Zurich Classic of New Orleans crowned champions Cameron Smith and Marc Leishman in true Big Easy style, following a year off due to the COVID-19 crisis. The Aussies survived a one-hole playoff against South African duo Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen to claim the win, Smith's second at the event, having previously won in 2017 with teammate Jonas Blixt.

While #TeamMullet was shaking things up on the course, the U.S. Ryder Cup standings stayed mostly static through the Top 20. Ryan Palmer moved one spot from 20 to 19 this week, while Georgia Tech’s Richy Werenski saw the week’s largest jump, up 14 places from 67 to 53 on the back of a third-place finish with partner Peter Uihlein.
