Sam Burns makes his second consecutive appearance in the Ryder Cup after a 2025 that included six-top finishes on the PGA Tour, culminating in a tie for seventh in the TOUR Championship, and also featured a tie for seventh in the U.S. Open.
The five-time PGA Tour winner made his Ryder Cup debut in 2023 at Marco Simone in Italy, posting a 1-2-0 record. He partnered with Collin Morikawa to defeat Viktor Hovland and Ludvig Åberg in their Saturday four-ball match.
A native of Shreveport, La., Burns was a first-team All-America honoree for Louisiana State University. He was a member of the victorious 2022 and 2024 United States Presidents Cup teams.
