Cameron Young will make his Ryder Cup debut in his home state at Bethpage Black, a venue where he saw early success as an emerging talent. A native of Scarborough, N.Y., Young won the New York State Open there, becoming the first amateur winner in the championship’s history.
Young, who turned pro in 2019, won the Arnold Palmer Award as the PGA Tour’s Rookie of the Year for the 2021-22 season, with performances that included a runner-up finish in The Open and a tie for third in the PGA Championship. He became a first-time winner on the PGA Tour in August with a six-stroke victory in the 2025 Wyndham Championship.
Young has previously represented the U.S. in international team competition in the Junior Ryder Cup in 2014 and in the 2022 Presidents Cup.
