Sept. 22-28, 2025 Bethpage Black Course, Farmingdale, NY

Picture this: The excitement and craziness of the NCAA Tournament AND the excitement and craziness of Sunday at the Ryder Cup.

Not sure there are enough Patrick Reed roars or Tiger fist pumps to express how awesome that would be.

In the spirit of the season, we decided to imagine if Ryder Cup Sunday was a giant 64-golfer bracket. Instead of having automatic bids and seeding requirements, our selection committee had no rules. We picked golfers from around the world, Ryder Cup legends, up-and-coming young stars and even one amateur who has a history with his first-round opponent.

Now, its time for the fun part, and we need your help.

Below are the matchups for the 4 regions of the bracket (named for the courses hosting this year's majors) and some information on each golfer. Your job is to vote for who you think would win that match.

Are there enough trick shots in the bag for a matchup between Wesley Bryan and Phil Mickelson? How many roars from the crowd and players would we hear during a match between Patrick Reed and a young Sir Nick Faldo? Open the imagination and think about what would happen in a match between Bryson DeChambeau and 2008 U.S. Ryder Cupper Anthony Kim. And could Rory McIlroy avoid the 1 vs 16 upset and get revenge on Augusta Member Jeff Knox after he (unofficially) beat the former world No. 1 as a marker during the 2014 Masters?

Voting will be open for this round until midnight on Friday, March 16. We will then open the voting for the second round on Saturday morning for voting until midnight on Sunday.

Our regional semifinals and finals will be held from March 23-26 and the semifinals and our champion will be crowned on Final Four weekend April 1-3.
