Ryder Cup Standings Through The American Express
By Ryder Cup On January 25, 2021 3:11 UTC
Despite shooting a blistering 11-under par 61 in the final round The American Express, Patrick Cantlay's Sunday effort proved to be one shot shy of eventual champion Se Woo Kim. Kim finished with an 8-under par 64 to match Cantlay's three career PGA TOUR victories.
Though Cantlay didn't claim a 4th TOUR win on Sunday, he made a significant move in the U.S. Ryder Cup standings. His second place finish earned him 1,095.45 points and he was able to crack the Top 10 (#9) in the latest rankings.
Other notables this week include Patrick Reed, who slid from 9th to 11th place this week after a missed cut (68-75) and Tony Finau, who's solo 4th netted him 492.45 points and held him steady in 10th place.
