Biography

A 5-time PGA Tour winner, Russell Henley locked in a spot on his first Ryder Cup team by way of finishing in fourth place on the U.S. points list. His season, highlighted by his victory in the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard in March, also included 10 top-10 performances, with ties for 10th in the U.S. Open and The Open Championship. He also finished tied for seventh and fifth in the U.S. Open and The Open Championship, respectively, in 2024, which also helped to elevate him on the points list.

Henley, a Macon, Ga., native, posted a 3-1-0 record as part of the victorious 2024 United States Presidents Cup team, and also represented the U.S. in international team competition in the 2011 Walker Cup. He was a teammate at the University of Georgia of fellow 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup team member Harris English, who was also part of the 2011 United States Walker Cup team.
