Harris English’s fifth PGA Tour victory and a pair of runner-up finishes in major championships highlighted a memorable 2025 for the Valdosta, Ga., native, and propelled him to a fifth place finish on the U.S. points list and a spot on his second Ryder Cup Team.

English, who captured the Farmers Insurance Open in January before placing tied for second in the PGA Championship and solo second in The Open Championship, made his Ryder Cup debut in 2021 at Whistling Straits. He posted a 1-2-0 record for the victorious U.S. team, partnering with Tony Finau to defeat Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry in their Friday Four-Ball match.

A teammate of fellow 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup team member Russell Henley at the University of Georgia, English represented the United States in the 2011 Walker Cup, where he was also a teammate of Henley’s.
