Biography
A second U.S. Open title to go along with back-to-back runner-up finishes in the PGA Championship cemented Bryson DeChambeau among golf’s elite competitors, and lead to a spot on his third Ryder Cup team via a sixth place finish on the U.S. points list.
DeChambeau, a Modesto, Calif., native, followed up his runner-up performance in the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla Country Club with a victory in the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 the following month. He would then finish tied for second in the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club, part of run that included six top-10 finishes in eight major championship starts.
Following a disappointing Ryder Cup debut in 2018 at Le Golf National in France, DeChambeau bounced back at Whistling Straits in 2021, posting a 2-0-1 record for the victorious U.S. team.
DeChambeau has tallied nine total PGA Tour victories, and three wins in the LIV Golf League. The 2015 U.S. Amateur champion has also represented the U.S. in international team competition in the 2019 Presidents Cup and the 2015 Walker Cup.
